Once we got the cab
back we cleaned all of the surfaces and then covered every panel
inside the cab with Second Skin sound deadening material. We even cover inside
the cowl under the hood. Any surface that had the chance of
being seen, we painted the
Second Skin with
SEM Trim Black paint
so it wouldn't stand out.
We then stripped down
and cleaned the entire undercab and bed and sprayed it with
bedliner. It was a very nice and even textured
that came out giving it a very durable finish.
We then started wiring
our C-10 with numerous components from
Painless
Performance. We mounted our 18 circuit fuse block from our
Chassis harness to the firewall using a stock designed bulkhead
connector. We then mount our
convenience module along with our fuse blocks from our
LS harness and other
Painless wiring kits. We covered all of our Painless
harness's in their Power Braid coverings and help them in place with strips of
Second Skin. We
also used the Painless
courtesy light kit,
gauge harness kit.
